spending the next 3 weeks in this space to create for some shows we’re planning this year.
it’s so much easier to talk about our collaborations with others than it is for us to talk about ourselves, here goes. earlier this week we performed at a fund raising event in order to run a creative arts camp in Jamaica (we’re the music teachers again this year). a couple days later, we collaborated/performed with Opening Ceremony to present their own Fall collection. while rehearsals for all this were going on, we were spending the rest of our time in the studio— painting for an upcoming show in LES July 1, preparing ideas for larger collaborations, and eating perfect chocolate. at this point we’re studio rats. if it’s not a recording studio, it’s a painting studio; if not that, it’s a photo studio.every night we retreat to studio sized bedrooms nestled in teeny corners of brooklyn.
